On June 11-16, 2024, as part of the preparatory work for the One Water Summit on global water issues, a French delegation chaired by Ms. Barbara Pompili arrived. On June 12, 2024, a working meeting was organized at the office of the IFAS Executive Directorate in the Republic of Kazakhstan. On June 13-15, 2024, the French delegation visited the Kyzylorda region.
Following the results of the working trip, a joint statement was prepared by the Special Representatives of the Presidents of France and Kazakhstan for the One Water Summit from Ms. Barbara Pompili and Ms. Zulfiya Suleimenova, which will be published at the UN Global Conference on Water Resources.
