Our activity
EB IFAS in the Republic of Kazakhstan worked in the following areas:
Integrated water resources use includes projects aimed at solving problems related to transboundary water resources management, improvement of reclamation state of irrigated lands, creation of monitoring systems and databases, development of basin plans and improvement of safety of hydraulic structures.
Environmental. Projects in this area are designed to solve problems related to protecting and improving the environment, including the preservation of biodiversity and reducing the risk of natural disasters.
Socio-economic. Projects in this area are aimed at solving social and economic problems, including improving living conditions, sustainable development, increasing employment, improving water and energy supply systems, education and health care.
Improvement of institutional and legal mechanisms. Projects in this area are designed to address the problems associated with improving institutional development, legal and regulatory frameworks and strengthening the capacity of regional bodies of IFAS.

Informing the world and domestic public about the problems of the Aral Sea by working with the media, issuing informational products, etc.
